TOP 7 PRIORITY:WINTER SESSION OF PARLIAMENT

In the din of argumentative and vociferous Indian Politics of today, our Leaders and Political parties some times forget about the most urgent priority of people they claim to represent. Forum4 Political Unity wishes to remind the Leaders of Political Parties about top 7 priority issues, which should be discussed in the winter session of Parliament.

1. How to conserve and manage the Water resources of the Country?

(a) A comprehensive legislation to make Rain Water Harvesting mandatory all across the country.

(b) Legislation to protect all the River Systems and other Natural water bodies against pollution.

(c) To revive our old River Navigation and Transport to reduce the transaction cost and carbon foot print.
(d) To develop “green Corridor” on either sides of the River Basins to prevent soil erosion.

2. How to protect ‘Women’ against atrocities?

(a) All Women Police Force, Court and Hospital.

(b) To increase the proportion of women in the Policing.

(c) Appropriate Institutional mechanism to train ‘Girls’ in Schools & Colleges in marital arts.

3. How to keep our cities Clean & Green and efficient?

(a) Technology for Solid Waste Management

(b) Out sourcing of Management of Cities to the Private Sector.

4. How to manage the immediate Energy challenges?

(a) Demand side management of energy.

(b) Renewable Energy production and consumption as a ‘Mass Movement’.

5. How to enhance the efficiency of Bureaucracy?

(a) Complete Computerization of Govt. offices and all transactions.

(b) Deployment of Human Resources Management Technology in Govt.
(c) To reduce the size of Govt. and scope of discretion.                                                                                          

6. How to strengthen the Public Sector and enhance the value of public Investment?

(a) Creation of Holding Company System for all Public Sector Organizations to bring sharp focus on the business.

(b) To retain the Leaders and dispose of the laggards.

(c) Private Management of Public Sectors to enhance value.


7. How to prevent Wastage of Resources in Government?

(a) Efficiency in Expenditure by complete disclosure.

(b) Adoption of Project Management Science to cut cost substantially.

(c) Institutional arrangement for Inventory of Govt. Assets and its optimal management.
