Dear Mr. Tripathy,

Greetings for a very Happy Diwali. The preparation for “Konark Festival” must be in full swing. I have a suggestion to make on the subject.

How about making “Michelle Obama & Barak Obama” the Chief Guest of Konark Festival? In one stroke we can make this a Global Event.

Obama just got re-elected as US President after a long and hard campaign and may be looking forward to a short vacation with family before swearing in 20^th Jan 2013. There is a window of one month in which US President could make a private visit to Odisha as Michelle Obama was too keen to visit India once again as 1^st lady in the first term itself.

We just need to convince the Chief Minister to send a formal Invite to US President through Diplomatic channel(MEA) as soon as possible.

Can we give this Idea a chance?
